It’s not an easy task to change the legal representative for Shanghai WFOE since the documents required may be burdensome. The procedures can be easier if all the documents are well prepared. This article is to introduce the procedures of Shanghai WFOE legal representative change for your reference.
Step 1: Changing the Shanghai WFOE’s Legal Representative
First, the company’s registered information must be changed. the Application form for Change of Foreign Invested Companies should be filed with the original Administration of Industry and Commerce (AIC) of registration.
Step2: Changing Legal Representative with the Taxation Registration Authority
The company’s tax registration needs to be changed with the Taxation Registration Authority. An application should be made to the local Tax Service Hall and include the documents supporting the change of registration as obtained in Step One. These should be accompanied by the original taxation registration certificate (and copies) issued by the taxation authorities, as well as any other required documents.
Step3: Changing Legal Representative of Foreign Exchange Registration Particulars
Foreign exchange registration particulars shall be changed also. You should apply for the change of foreign exchange registration particular. This may take 7-10 working days to complete.
Step4：Changing Legal Representative with the Bank
Bank info is of great important since it highly relevant to the business of a company. The change will not be complicated, please carry the identity materials and certificate of approval of the change of legal representative to submit to the bank.
