Hong Kong Telecommunications License is one of the data required for customs clearance when exporting telecommunications products such as mobile phones. Hong Kong imposes legal controls on the import and export of radio transmitting equipment. The telecommunications ordinance requires the import and export of mobile phones to be carried by a permit or a radio operator's license.

Time for processing
7-10 working days if the information is complete
Validity of application
The first application for a telecommunications license is valid for one year. No renewal within one month will be cancelled.
