Tannets’ Founder Mr. Chan Carlson Was Invited to Attend 2017 APEC Business Forum for SMEs

APEC Business Forum, which aims to set up a platform for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in all countries and regions to exchange views, share experiences and expand opportunities for cooperation and innovation, thus promoting SMEs' innovation and regional economic integration, was held in Shanghai and Nanjing in 2001 and 2014, and received extensive attention from the international community.

This year, the forum was held on December 1 in Changsha City, Hunan Province. The forum is co sponsored by thte SMEs Development Promotion Centre of MIIT (Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China), China International Cooperation Association of Small and Medium Enterprises (CICASME), Changsha Municipal People's Government and APEC SME Service Alliance. More than 300 experts and scholars, SMEs service institutions ahd enterprise representatives from various fields were present. The concerns of economic communities such as "intelligent manufacturing, entrepreneurial innovation, business environment and sustainable development" were discussed in depth. Tannet’s founder Mr. Chan Carlson was invited to attend this grand event.

In the Conference, Mr. Chan, as a representative of the Chinese enterprises, shared his experiences in business incubation for SMEs. The topic of his speech is New Thinking and New Attitude For The Development of SMEs in the New Era, which was elaborated in three parts. The first part is how to improve the success rate of entrepreneurship? The second part is what new thinking and new attitude should entrepreneurs embrace in the new era? And the third part is how to promote the innovation, transformation and sustainable development of enterprises under the new situation?

At the end of the speech, Mr. Chan said, “ Under the new global situation and the new order, we should guide enterprises to move toward smart thinking and smart development, and pursue profits making and social benefits, so as to achieve platform sharing and win-win cooperation” , which was greatly recognized by the participants.
