Tesco Claimed to Set Up 10 Stores in China within One Year

Tesco, a British chain retailer, claimed recently that they had planned to set up 10 stores with its own brand in China within one year.
Last week Tesco set up the first chain store in China in Beijing and they would own the Chinese chain retailer Logo through the JV with Ting Hsin International Group and hold 90% shares of the JV.
Tesco declared that they had planned to transform the 46 Logo supermarkets in China into Tesco brand stores.
