To this end, the Group bought a large section of industrial-purposed land with an area of 200,000 square meters in Anhui Province, China in 2006. It will use this land to develop Chinese traditional and Western medicines and establish a pharmaceutical base integrating research and development, agriculture, production, wholesaling, and exhibition. It will lay the foundation for developing Chinese traditional and Western medicines in China.

Green Plantation --- A Modern Agriculture Demonstration and Sightseeing Base
Tainan Agricultural Technology (Hong Kong) Co., Ltd is an enterprise established by British TANNET group for the development of crop farming in China. The purpose of this enterprise is to use crop farming experiences from Taiwan, the UK and Malaysia and combine them with the advantages of geological, environmental, policy and human resources conditions in China to build a modern agricultural demonstration and sightseeing base in Jiangsu Province. The primary purpose of the base is to plant and process natural fruits and vegetables and organic food. The secondary purpose is to serve as an agricultural and ecological sightseeing and relaxation resort. The initial phase for the development of the base occupies an area of 500 mu, and the base will be expanded to 5000 mu within 10 years. In cooperation with rural industry-structure adjustment programs, the Group will create “model bases” concerning Agriculture, Rural Areas, and Peasant (so called San Nong) all over the country and promote the development of San Nong.
At present, the Group possesses high quality green agriculture production bases, up-to-date pretreatment processing plants and complete food processing, preservation and refrigeration equipment. The rapid development Group is supported by professional technology research fellows, modern management techniques and an extensive marketing network.
